Chana is a Licensed Associate Marriage and Family Therapist who has an MS in Marriage and Family Therapy from Seton Hall University. She is a patient and empathetic relational therapist with multiculturally and socially sensitive skills that help empower and support clients through their challenges. Her focus is building and strengthening interpersonal connection, relational satisfaction, and healthy communication in all types of relationships.
Chana takes a systemic client centered approach, with the belief that the client is the expert on their own life and already possesses strengths that can be capitalized on to work through their problems. She collaborates directly with clients to create an individualized approach that addresses their unique concerns while taking into consideration the impact of social, economic, and cultural influences on their experiences.
Chana is experienced in utilizing various modalities including emotionally focused relational strategies, parts work, art, play, and creative problem solving to create an enjoyable and productive therapeutic experience for families and individuals.
