Emily Tully is a licensed Social Worker and Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug
Counselor with extensive experience in the mental health and substance abuse fields.
She holds a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Rutgers University and a Master of
Arts in Forensic Psychology from Fairleigh Dickinson University. Emily has worked with
adults in diverse settings, including outpatient, residential, detox, and medication-
assisted treatment programs. Specializing in co-occurring disorders, she has over six
years of experience treating individuals with a wide range of challenges, including
substance use and behavioral addictions, mood disorders, insomnia, anxiety,
psychosis, and personality disorders.

Emily takes a holistic, client-centered approach to therapy, fostering a non-judgmental
and supportive environment where clients feel safe and understood. She integrates
various therapeutic modalities, including Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral
Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed care,
tailoring her approach to meet the unique needs of each individual.
Outside of her professional work, Emily enjoys experimenting with new recipes, reading,
hiking, and spending quality time with her dogs.
