Kaylan is a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) and psychotherapist with experience working with a broad range of client populations. Kaylan earned her MSW from Rutgers University School of Social Work, where she earned a certificate in Violence Against Women and Children. She also received a dual Bachelor’s in Psychology and Women and Gender Studies. She is also a certified Nurtured Parent Facilitator.

Kaylan has dedicated her academic and professional career to working with survivors of violence and deeply understands how trauma can impact mental, physical, and spiritual wellness.

Kaylan has worked as an advocate for survivors of interpersonal violence and understands that each survivor deserves to have a person-centered approach to their healing. Kaylan provides a warm, compassionate and empathetic environment where her clients can safely explore their needs and feelings.

Kaylan has over 3+ years of providing trauma-informed therapy with youth as young as 3 to adults. In addition, she is experienced in working with youth, families, and individuals dealing with challenges due to trauma, anxiety, depression, and interpersonal conflict.

In her work, Kaylan utilizes a variety of modalities, including play therapy, art therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and trauma-informed cognitive behavioral therapy.
