Nygera S. Pierson Mutis, MS, LCSW

Together we will explore and uncover the root causes of your difficulties and build meaningful connections

As a clinician, the foundation of my work is based on developing a relationship, providing empathy, forming a pathway for open communication, and remaining non-judgmental while creating a safe and comfortable environment. Utilizing a trauma-informed and culturally competent lens I understand that each client is unique and deserves the most effective treatment for his/her individual needs.

I obtained my Master’s Degree in Social Work from Columbia University and have experience providing individualized therapy to youth, adolescents, and adults. I am certified by the State of New Jersey as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and New York as a Licensed Master Social Worker.

When I am not in the office, you will find me spending time with friends and family.

Take the first step to feel good again, and reach out today. Together we will determine the best approach or course of action, during the first intake appointment. Weekly therapy sessions last about 45-50 minutes.
