Tierney Byrne, Counseling Intern
I strive to provide a compassionate, non-judgmental space where clients feel truly seen, heard, and supported as they navigate their unique path toward healing and self-discovery.
Tierney Byrne is a graduate-level intern in the Mental Health Counseling program at the New York Institute of Technology. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Pace University and is currently completing her clinical internship under the supervision of the practice owner, a licensed therapist.
Tierney is passionate about supporting individuals on their journey toward emotional well-being. She is committed to creating a warm, non-judgmental environment where clients feel safe, heard, and respected. Drawing from her academic training and developing clinical experience, she approaches each client with empathy, openness, and a deep respect for the uniqueness of their healing process.
Outside of her clinical work, Tierney enjoys reading, writing, attending live music events, and singing — creative outlets that reflect her appreciation for expression, connection, and emotional authenticity.
