Your mental health is everything — prioritize it. Make the time like your life depends on it because it does. If we start being honest about our pain, our anger, and our shortcomings instead of pretending they don’t exist, then maybe we’ll leave the world a better place than we found it.

Joslyn Camilo, LSW, is a Licensed Social Worker with a strong educational foundation, having earned her Bachelor’s degree from Rutgers University and her Master of Social Work (MSW) from NYU. Joslyn’s professional journey has equipped her with valuable experience in aiding individuals of all age groups, from children to adolescents and adults, as they confront various mental health challenges, including anxiety and depression.

Joslyn’s upbringing in New Jersey, within a family of Dominican Republic immigrants, has deepened her appreciation for her cultural heritage. She is committed to promoting cultural awareness and advocating for equality, with a particular focus on supporting the LGBTQ+ community.

As a dedicated therapist, Joslyn is unwavering in her pursuit of providing a safe, non-judgmental environment where clients can openly express themselves and embrace their true selves. Her therapeutic approach frequently incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to encourage mindfulness and help clients alleviate stress by focusing on the present moment.
