Your mental health is everything — prioritize it. Make the time like your life depends on it because it does. If we start being honest about our pain, our anger, and our shortcomings instead of pretending they don’t exist, then maybe we’ll leave the world a better place than we found it.

Kit Margeotes, LSW, is a licensed social worker with a wealth of experience spanning diverse populations. Armed with a Master’s degree from Rutgers University, Kit’s professional journey has taken her through the realms of educational institutions and nonprofit organizations. She has dedicated herself to guiding children in processing trauma and cultivating emotional coping skills.

Kit’s expertise extends to both group and individual therapy, addressing a spectrum of challenges including depression, anxiety, grief, and more complex issues like panic attacks, paranoid thoughts, suicidal ideation, self-harm, and emotional detachment. She has provided invaluable support to clients navigating through tough life transitions, such as divorce, familial conflicts, experiences of sexual abuse, and instances of bullying.

Kit’s commitment to the LGBTQ+ community has been unwavering, offering comprehensive care encompassing sexuality and gender-affirmation.
